Play “Keep Walkin'”

Do you ever feel like giving up? I do. Life’s journey isn’t easy. But God’s promise to those who wait on Him is that their strength will be renewed. “They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary; they will walk and not be faint.” (Isaiah 40:31, NIV) I wish all of the journey could be made on eagle’s wings, but much of it is made on our knees. Don’t give up, weary pilgrim. God will provide the strength to KEEP WALKIN’.

Looking Back

The journey is often long, difficult, demanding, and challenging, to say the least. The call is to perseverance. The apostle Paul said, “We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed.” (II Corinthians 4:8 & 9) The title song, as well as others on this album, encourages us to keep walking, no matter what. Easier said than done, but the effort is worth the result in this life and the next. Now as I look back on this difficult time of struggles during my “mid-life crisis,” I can see the growth I experienced and thank God for His faithfulness.
