How thankful I am for the Kriegers, an exceptional musical family whose hearts and talents are dedicated to Praising God and Blessing His Children.

This is the fourth recording that the family has produced and after you listen to it I’m sure that you will see and hear why I am so enthusiastic about their singing.

I am happy to recommend “LISTEN”, an outstanding variety album of solos, duets, and family singing that will bless and keep on blessing.

“Sing”cerely,

Listen to the Word of God

How shall a young man cleanse his way?
How shall he know what to do and say?
By taking heed to the Word of God:
Listen to the Word of God.

How shall a sinner come to God?
How shall he know which way to trod?
The road to Calv’ry leads the way.
Listen to the Word of God.

How shall a wise man build his life?
How can he shun all the sin and strife?
By building on the Word of God:
Listen to the Word of God.

How shall a mourner be made glad?
Where is there comfort when he is sad?
There’s peace and joy at the throne of God:
Listen to the Word of God.

How shall a troubled man find rest?
Where shall he turn when he’s sore distressed?
Jesus said, “Come unto me.”
Listen to the Word of God.

Listen, O listen to His Word;
There from its pages the truth is heard.
O hear the truth that can set you free.
Listen to the Word of God.

Tell Me the Story of Jesus

Tell me the story of Jesus,
Write on my heart ev’ry word;
Tell me the story most precious,
Sweetest that ever was heard!
Tell how the angels in chorus
Sang as they welcomed His birth:
“Glory to God in the highest!
Peace and good tidings to earth!”

CHORUS:
Tell me the story of Jesus,
Write on my heart ev’ry word;
Tell me the story most precious,
Sweetest that ever was heard!

Tell of the cross where they nailed Him,
Writhing in anguish and pain;
Tell of the grave where they laid Him,
Tell how He liveth again!
Love, in that story so tender,
Clearer than ever I see;
Stay, let me weep while you whisper –
Love paid the ransom for me!

CHORUS

Love

Love is a canvas furnished by nature
and embroidered by imagination;
Love is the touch of a warm gentle hand
on a cold day of winter’s creation.
Love is the smile of a contented heart
and the joy of being loved and loving.
But love is much more than all these things,
when it comes from the hand of God above.

Refrain:
Love is kind and patient;
Love is gentle and good.
Love is never boastful;
It always behaves as it should.
Love is true and hopeful;
True love will never fail.
Christ is love’s great pattern;
May my life His pattern unveil.

(Repeat Refrain)

I Will Follow

Jesus called the rugged fishers
By the sea of Galilee,
“If you would be my disciples,
Leave your nets and follow me.”
Still His gentle voice is calling,
Weary pilgrim, calling thee,
“Leave the world and sin behind you,
Take thy cross and follow me.”

CHORUS:
I will follow ev’ry day,
I will follow all the way,
I will follow, come what may,
I will follow.
If bright sunshine lights the way
Or the skies be dark and grey,
While my Savior leads the way
I will follow.

Up the mountain side so dreary,
Echoing down the rocky steep,
Hear the Shepherd’s voice so tender,
Calling for His wand’ring sheep;
“Sheep of mine, why are you straying
On the mountains bleak and cold?
Follow Me, I’ll safely lead you
To the shelter of the fold.”

CHORUS

God’s Prized Possession

You are one of God’s prized possessions,
Your sins were costly to atone.
It took the life of His Son most precious
To make you one of His very own.

CHORUS:
God has begun a good work within you;
You are a trophy of His grace.
He will continue His work within you,
Until you meet Him face to face.

God has chosen you to be His vessel;
He is the Potter, you’re the clay.
He wants to make you into His own likeness.
His work continues day by day.

CHORUS

Are you trying to impress the Potter?
How can you think you’re wise as He?
Let Him fashion you for His own purpose.
Someday the total design you’ll see.

CHORUS:
I am not redeemed with silver of gold,
But by the precious blood of Jesus.
His love for me can never fully be told;
O praise the blessed name of Jesus.

Once I was lost in the darkness of sin,
But Jesus came to rescue me.
He paid the price to ransom my soul
And set my enslaved heart free.

CHORUS

Jesus Loves Me Medley

Jesus loves me! this I know,
For the Bible tells me so;
Little ones to Him belong,
They are weak but He is strong.

Yes, Jesus loves me!
Yes, Jesus loves me!
Yes, Jesus loves me!
The Bible tells me so.

I love Thee, I love Thee, I love Thee, my Lord;
I love Thee, my Savior, I love Thee, my God;
I love Thee, I love Thee, and that Thou dost know;
But how much I love Thee my actions will show.

The Story of God’s Love

Do you know the world is dying
For the story of God’s love?
Ev’rywhere we hear the sighing
For the story of God’s love;
For the love that rights a wrong,
Fills the heart with hope and song,
They have waited, oh so long,
For the story of God’s love.

While the souls of men are dying
For the story of God’s love,
While the children, too, are crying
For the story of God’s love;
Stand no longer idly by,
You can help them if you try;
Go, then, saying, “Here am I,”
With the story of God’s love.

Like a Choir of Silver Bells

Like a choir of silver bells so clearly ringing,
Comes a voice that tells us of the Shepherd’s care;
How though rough may be the path, He seeks the wand’ring,
Brings him back into God’s pastures green and fair.

CHORUS:
“Follow me, follow me;
I’m the Way, the Truth, the Life, come follow Me.”
Like a choir of silver bells so clearly ringing,
Hear the Shepherd kind and true -“Come, follow me.”

Once my life was full of sin and Satan held me;
Once my heart was full of woe and misery.
Like a sheep, I lost my way, but Jesus found me;
I’m so glad I heard Him call, “Come, follow me.”

CHORUS

Looking Back

As our family grew, we needed to update our group songs. So here’s another sampler of solos, duets, and group numbers that we sang in concerts all across the country. Some old, some new. Well, back in the 1970’s they were new things that I had written. Now they are “old.” The title comes from one of the songs featured: “Listen to the Word of God.” And I still love listening to our little girl, Kristi, singing “Jesus Loves Me.” It doesn’t get any sweeter than this.
