Thank You

Today I merely want to say “Thank you” to those of you who have been praying for me since my fall. I continue to be amazed at the process of prayer. We don’t communicate with God through a magic mantra, but with heartfelt words on behalf of someone we care about. Sometimes we even groan, lacking the words we need to say, but God understands and answers.

I am happy to report that I have been gradually improving. The most pain comes from the fractured sternum, but it is lessening every day if I don’t exert myself too much. I am very thankful for a loving family that takes good care of me while I rest and recuperate. They also love the Lord and serve Him by serving me. So I thank God and I thank you for caring and for praying. Keep it up. Hopefully I’ll be back with another devotional next week.

In the meantime, “Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer” (Romans 12:12).

In Our Savior’s  Love,

Donna
