The Gift of God

I cannot bless you,

But God can.

I may not be with you,

But God is.

I might not hold you,

But God will.

I wish you joy.

I wish you peace.

I wish you hope

And sweet release

From all the burdens

That you bear

As you cast them

On the One who cares.

May God provide

All this and more.
