Play “Two-Part Stylings”

The need was apparent. Implementation was vague. But along came the multi-talented Kriegers with their TWO-PART STYLINGS and that which was once vague is now vogue! (Bob Ashton)

A word from Dr. Alfred B. Smith – Musician-Composer and founder of SINGSPIRATION:

I have long realized that the word “ordinary” is not used in one’s vocabulary when describing the musical talents of Donna and Conrad Krieger. Heart-warming! inspiring! effective! are more in keeping as one considers what they have done with the God-given talent so willingly dedicated to His service while still in their teens.

I know you will find blessing and refreshing as you listen to the beautiful vocal duet arrangements on this recording.

Singcerely in Him,

Alfred B. Smith

Featuring Vocal Duets by Donna and Conrad Krieger

The songs you hear on this album have been published EXACTLY as recorded and are available in a collection bearing the same title as the album. Don’t think for a moment that these arrangements are geared for duets only. A beautiful sound may be obtained by having all the men in your choir sing the one part and all the ladies sing the other. For that last minute choir commitment, these arrangements are indispensable.

One of These Days

One o’ these days I’ll see my Saviour,
One ‘o’ these days He’ll come for me;
One o’ these days I’ll be in Heaven,
One o’ these days His face I’ll see.
What a great day of rejoicing,
What a great day that will be!
Wonderful day of deliverance for you and for me!
One o’ these days I’ll see my Saviour,
One o’ these days He’ll come for me;
One of’ these days I’ll be in Heaven,
One o’ these days His glorious face I’ll see.

Take Time to Be with Jesus

Take time to be with Jesus,
To talk to Him each day,
Take time to feel Him near you
In a holy, quiet way.
Take time to read the Bible,
For God will meet you there,
And give you strength and wisdom
To meet your earthly care

CHORUS:
Take time to be with Jesus,
Take time to be with Him;
Then life will have a meaning
That gives joy within.
Take time to be with Jesus,
Take time alone with Him;
Then life will be worth living.
Take time to be with Him.

Take time to be with Jesus
Along your earthly way.
Don’t let the world demand from you
Ev’ry moment of your day.
Take time to read the Bible,
Lay other things aside;
And let the Spirit teach you
In Jesus to abide.

What a Friend

What a Friend we have in Jesus,
All our sins and griefs to bear!
What a privilege to carry
Ev’rything to God in prayer.
O what peace we often forfeit,
O what needless pain we bear,
All because we do not carry
Ev’rything to God in prayer.

Have we trials and temptations?
Is there trouble anywhere?
We should never be discouraged,
Take it to the Lord in prayer.
Can we find a friend so faithful
Who will all our sorrows share?
Jesus knows our ev’ry weakness,
Take it to the Lord in prayer.

My Redeemer

I will sing of my Redeemer,
And His wondrous love to me;
On the cruel cross He suffered,
From the curse to set me free.

CHORUS:
Sing, oh, sing of my Redeemer,
With His blood He purchased me;
On the cross He sealed my pardon,
Paid the debt and made me free.

I will praise my dear Redeemer,
His triumphant power I’ll tell,
How the victory He giveth
Over sin and death and hell.

The Love of the Father

The wonderful love of the Father above
Was written for all to see
When Jesus, His only begotten Son,
Came to earth to die for me.

CHORUS;
The love of the Father sent Jesus to earth;
The love of all heaven was revealed at His birth.
The love of the Father in Jesus did shine;
The love shown at Calv’ry was love divine.
The love of the Saviour has claimed my heart;
That wonderful love shall ne’er depart.
And now and forever my prayer shall be:
May the love of the Saviour be seen in me.

The love of the Father and Jesus, the Son,
Abide in my heart today.
Oh may I show others this wondrous love
In all I do and say.

Jesus Paid It All

I hear the Savior say, “Thy strength indeed is small!
Child of weakness, watch and pray,
Find in Me thine all in all.”

Chorus:
Jesus paid it all, all to Him I owe;
Sin had left a crimson stain – He washed it white as snow.

For nothing good have I whereby Thy grace to claim –
So I’ll wash my garments white
In the blood of Calvr’y’s Lamb.

Chorus

Whiter than snow, yes, whiter than snow;
Now wash me and I shall be whiter than snow.

The Everlasting Arms

Many are the struggles of this lifetime,
Many are the burdens that we bear;
But the Heav’nly Father has provided for His own
A refuge where we find relief from care.

CHORUS:
Underneath me, all around me
Are the everlasting arms.
Nothing ever shall release me
From His everlasting arms.
There I find security;
There I’m safe eternally.
There’s a peace and joy that comforts me,
While I’m resting in His everlasting arms.

Peace in Jesus

Often when the field of life is sown, the way to God is seldom known.
You perhaps have face this same condition; my mission, then, is telling you of Him.
I’ve found peace in Jesus,
Peace in God’s dear Son.
Evr’y evening in prayer I kneel;
I know heaven is very real.
Now that I’ve found Jesus,
Won’t you find Him too?
With all my heart I pray for your life anew;

Jesus Will Be a Wonderful Friend to You

Jesus once offered his life for you,
He suffered and died for your sin.
He wants to forgive you and make you clean,
And give you His Spirit within.

He offers life in abundance to you.
Turn from your selfish way, and give Him your heart today;

So why not accept God’s way?
Or you must face judgement before the Lord;

Our Love (A Wedding Song)

O Lord, Thou who art Love,
We bring our earthly love to Thee;
Teach us to know Thy loving way,
That our love like Thine by be.
Loving Heav’nly Father, we present our love to Thee;
Guide it in Thy chosen path, that it may always faithful be.
Try it and test it in the fire, that it might be made pure.
Strengthen it with Thine almighty pow’r, that it might endure.
And if these things be true of our love, then grant us from above
The wisdom for our earthy way, to show to others Thy Love.
Amen.

His Eye Is on the Sparrow

Why should I feel discouraged, why should the shadows come?
Why should my heart be lonely and long for heaven and home,
When Jesus is my portion? My constant Friend is He;
His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me;
His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me.

Chorus:
I sing because I’m happy, I sing because I’m free,
For His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me.

Whenever I am tempted, whenever clouds arise,
When song gives way to sighing, and hope within me dies,
I draw the closer to Him. From care He sets me free;
His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me;
His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me.

Chorus

Looking Back

These simple duets (sung with my husband, Conrad) were part of our repertoire back in the 1960’s and 70’s. They are songs I’ve written, arrangements of old hymns, as well as one song by Bob Ashton, our producer.
